We want to build into a DIY culture cultivated through art and music. Hosting live music is a huge part of that. Through hosting live events, offering equipment, and providing a stage, we can help encourage, empower and equip an active, vibrant DIY music and art scene in the Valley. We want to create a space to share art and music, and a hub where artists can influence and inspire one another.
At our shows, we provide a sound technician, equipment, a stage, and masks. We promote each event heavily through our shared networks and social media. We will have high quality audio recordings captured at each live performance, and we provide these to every performer to use however they want. In addition, we want to produce a small run of limited edition cassettes of each live recording we make to add to our own distro.

Lucerne @the.filmme.fataleBeing able to record the shows we host means that musicians who play here can get their music out into the world, whether that’s by distributing it themselves as a demo or as a limited edition cassette released through EAM’s distro. We also ask for submissions from performers or bands using the practice and recording studio to be included in our quarterly mixtape. All of the funds raised through the EAM distro go right back into hosting future shows and running our other programs.
The most important part of the DIY culture we want to build on is its next generation, and for that reason, our shows are all-ages.
